Little Explorers – A School Readiness Group Program for Student with Autism (4 – 6 years old)
School is both an exciting and challenging time for most parents. This is especially so for parents whose children have some challenges in the areas of socialization and communication.
Our Little Explorers program is a school readiness group program that specialises in building a strong foundation in essential skills for school to prepare children with ASD for long-term success in their education journey.
Children enrolled in our Little Explorers will embark on an exciting journey, exploring a wide array of themes and concepts through various fun and meaningful activities. They will have the opportunity to develop essential social skills and form lasting friendships, all while enjoying a diverse and engaging learning experience!

Curriculum
Our goal is to help your child become an independent learner which will contribute to their success in learning in school in the future. The group program curriculum will also include pivotal learning to learn skills such as: increase attending skills, planning organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.

Setting and Format
A classroom setup similar to most regular preschool classrooms to include various distractions and routines facilitate generalization and future integration. A school day is structured so that part of the day is allotted to large group learning whilst another part focuses on smaller groups (e.g. 1:1 or 1:2).
