Olivia’s Jumpstart Journey
1:1 Intensive ABA Therapy Program
Meet Olivia!
Olivia’s family first came to Singapore in search of specialised ABA therapy services, it was not easily accessible back home in Hanoi. Like many international families, they were seeking:
- To experience our unique approach to ABA therapy also known as the Autism Partnership Method (APM™)
- To kick-start their child's learning journey, maximising intervention gains through a short period of time
- To receive advanced clinical guidance and training, led by the most experienced team in the field.

The team had six-weeks to work with her…
Including training the trainer from Hanoi
Assessment and identification of goals such as school readiness was indicated.
What was recommended for Olivia's Jumpstart Program
- Increase in tolerance and compliance
- Teaching the child to be a good learner
- Teaching the child to be spontaneous with the use of language, with multiple opportunities to create desire and intent to speak
- Effective communication through verbal imitation, so that the child learns how to speak with clarity.
- Helping the child broaden their desire towards others through day-to-day activities such as interactive play.
- Besides teaching the child how to learn effectively in a 1:1 setting, we also establish their ability to learn in a group setting too.
- Generalisation of skills with all the adults in her life.
- Shadow teacher was given didactic training with theory, and also a few days of hands-on training.
Parents were taught termination of reinforcement procedures, which were practiced in sessions. The same procedures such as Learning How to Learn activities such as waiting, following directions were covered too.

Olivia's family flew in from Hanoi, and focused on six-weeks of intensive ABA training with our advanced team. This includes Train the Trainer.

Olivia's family returned back to Hanoi, and continues to be guided by her shadow teacher in a school setting.

The family returned for a second Jumpstart booster program, to continue with the progress through intensive intervention.

Down the road, Olivia's family relocated to New York, and was able to continue therapy receive it full-time at Autism Partnership New York.
She continued with APM™ training for two full years, before graduating for school.
I just wanted to reach out and say thank you to the team for accepting us initially from afar and the foundational skills you helped establish!
When we went to Singapore in the summer of 2023 and again in October, we had no idea that life would lead us to New York in early 2024 (and assumed we would keep up with Jumps until maybe one day services were available locally).
AP having a global presence in NYC at this time was immense to us. It’s amazing how we were able to seamlessly foster her AP methods during this enormous change. She has adapted and grown so much, and I attribute a lot of that to the synergy of having similar practices globally.
